Compare Whole numbers

Mathematics is all about numbers and the numbers can be divided into various categories like natural numbers, rational numbers and complex numbers etc. including whole numbers. The numbers that are not allowed in whole numbers are: · Fractions · Percentages · Decimals Basically all the numbers having a positive sign or we can say all non – negative numbers including zero (0; as it is neither negative or nor positive), are considered as whole numbers. Thus the set can have values ranging from 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 .... Don’t get confused with the integers, every whole number can be an integer but not vice – versa. The integers include the whole numbers as well as negative numbers. The set of integer is: ..... -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3 ....

Analytic geometry :- In classical mathematics, analytic geometry, also known as coordinate geometry, or Cartesian geometry, is the study of geometry using a coordinate system and the principles of algebra and analysis. This contrasts with the synthetic approach of Euclidean geometry, which treats certain geometric notions as primitive, and uses deductive reasoning based on axioms and theorems to derive truth. Analytic geometry is widely used in physics and engineering, and is the foundation of most modern fields of geometry, including algebraic, differential, discrete, and computational geometry. Discrete Math :- Discrete mathematics is the study of mathematical structures that are fundamentally discrete rather than continuous. In contrast to real numbers that have the property of varying "smoothly", the objects studied in discrete mathematics – such as integers, graphs, and statements in logic – do not vary smoothly in this way, but have distinct, separated values. Discrete mathematic

Claisen Condensation
by vistateam123 0 Comments favorite 45 Viewed Download 0 Times

The Claisen condensation (not to be confused with the Claisen rearrangement) is a carbon– carbon bond forming reaction that occurs between two esters or one ester and another carbonyl compound in the presence of a strong base, resulting in a β-keto ester or a β- diketone. It is named after Rainer Ludwig Claisen, who first published his work on the reaction in 1881. At least one of the reagents must be enolizable (have an α-proton and be able to undergo deprotonation to form the enolate anion). There are a number of different combinations of enolizable and nonenolizable carbonyl compounds that form a few different types of Claisen condensations. The base used must not interfere with the reaction by undergoing nucleophilic substitution or addition with a carbonyl carbon. For this reason, the conjugate sodium alkoxide base of the alcohol formed (e.g. sodium ethoxide if ethanol is formed) is often used, since the alkoxide is regenerated. In mixed Claisen condensations, a non-nucleophilic

What Is the Difference Between a Paralegal Certificate and Certification?

It is important to distinguish between a paralegal certificate and certification. The terms are often confused. The terms are not interchangeable and have separate meaning. A certificate verifies that a student has successfully completed a paralegal educational program. Generally, these programs are offered at universities and colleges. The prerequisites may vary but many require the entering student to have an associate or bachelor’s degree in another area. For example, if a program offers a post‐baccalaureate paralegal certificate, the student will have obtained a bachelor’s degree in an area other than paralegal studies.

Scalar Definition

In linear algebra, real numbers are called scalars and relate to vectors in a vector space through the operation of scalar multiplication, in which a vector can be multiplied by a number to produce another vector. More generally, a vector space may be defined by using any field instead of real numbers, such as complex numbers. Then the scalars of that vector space will be the elements of the associated field. A scalar product operation (not to be confused with scalar multiplication) may be defined on a vector space, allowing two vectors to be multiplied to produce a scalar. A vector space equipped with a scalar product is called an inner product space. The real component of a quaternion is also called its scalar part. The term is also sometimes used informally to mean a vector, matrix, tensor, or other usually "compound" value that is actually reduced to a single component.

Working with Data in ASP.NET 2.0 :: An Overview of Inserting, Updating, and Deleting Data

Over the past several tutorials we've examined how to display data in an ASP.NET page using the GridView, DetailsView, and FormView controls. These controls simply work with data supplied to them. Commonly, these controls access data through the use of a data source control, such as the ObjectDataSource. We've seen how the ObjectDataSource acts as a proxy between the ASP.NET page and the underlying data. When a GridView needs to display data, it invokes its ObjectDataSource's Select() method, which in turn invokes a method from our Business Logic Layer (BLL), which calls a method in the appropriate Data Access Layer's (DAL) TableAdapter, which in turn sends a SELECT query to the Northwind database
