Installation: Harley ® Road Glide • Remove front turn signals, then the bolts by the turn signals, and then the inner fairing screws, you will have to lift up on the front to get it off the hooks under the lights.... (+ to get it back on). • Remove four screws in outer fairing (windshield can be left on). • Place towel of front fender, standing in front of bike gently lift outer fairing up and pull toward you. A real P.I.A. MHO • You need to press the little plastic tab on the side of each plug to each headlight and pull free. • Place faring on table, twist the ring around each bulb, and remove. • Take out old bulbs replace and get ready to cuss as you try and replace the outer fairing onto the two metal hooks above where the headlights would be. NOTE*Be sure to have all the wires tucked in tight and not in way of hooks, and just do it in the reverse direction to get it back on.... just watch the signal wires on the side they seem to get in way at times • This takes time and a steady hand. • You do not need to remove the windshield. If you remove the headlights prior to installing the outer fairing, you will have no problem hooking the fairing, the headlights just snap in after. (Fig. 5&6) 1 Series models only: Remove the 6 torx headed screws from securing the bumper / grille trim to the slam panel, carefully pull forward the trim to gain access behind the grilles.
