This body lift kit should only be installed on vehicles in good working condition. Before installation, the vehicle should be thoroughly inspected for evidence of corrosion or deformation of the sheet metal around the factory body mounts. This body lift kit should not be installed on any vehicle that is suspected to have been in a collision or misused. Off road use of your vehicle with this body lift installed may increase the stress applied to the factory body mounts. If you do not have a tow hitch or tow hook, proceed to Step 2. If your vehicle is equipped with a tow hitch or tow hook, you will need to remove it before you remove the factory bumper. To remove a tow hitch, use a wrench with an 18mm socket to remove the four (4) bolts that secure it to the bumper and discard them. If you have a tow hook, use a wrench with an 18mm socket to remove the three (3) bolts that mount it to the bumper and discard them.

1. Remove the driver side lower bumper bolt (bolt #1) also remove lower steering box mounting bolt (bolt #2) from frame as shown in figure #1. 2. Holding the skid plate in place, placing the three holes in the skid plate over the existing holes in frame. 3. With the skid plate in place, replace the bumper bolt (bolt #1) and steering box bolt (bolt #2). 4. Use the existing hole in the frame (A) to line up the rear skid plate bolt.Put the nut inside the frame. 5. Put the 5/8" aluminum spacer in place, shim accordingly with supplied washers and install the 3/8" x 2" bolt (bolt #3).

1. Remove existing bolt from bumper attachment on driver and passenger side. 2. Remove tow hooks if equipped. Return hooks and hardware to vehicle owner. 3. Raise hitch into position and secure with hardware as shown. Hardware attaching to weldnut from Step 1 will vary by vehicle. Use either 7/16" bolt and 7/16" conical toothed washer, or M12 bolt and 1/2" conical toothed washer.
