Description

The use of ultrasound in the early evaluation of pregnancy has progressively become an indispensable diagnostic tool in clinical practice but the efficacy of the procedure is dependant on the current experience and skill of the clinician. The diagnosis and evaluation of early pregnancy is crucial to the care of the patient in early pregnancy. Because ultrasound is currently considered to be a safe, non-invasive, accurate and cost effective tool in obstetricals and gynecology, diagnostic pelvic sonography is used by a variety of medical professionals in different clinical settings.
