Your chance to meet the national rally racers The traditional start for the Volkswagen Rally is exactly where you expect it to be - at the Auto Pavilion, the company’s interactive museum. This is an opportunity for rally fans to find out more about the company and the facility that houses its history. Visit the Auto Pavilion - where the teams will be doing their documentation before the event - and take advantage of the time to get to know the company a little better. This is also a good opportunity for autograph hunters to interact with the teams and also get a few photographs. If you arrive late at this point, you will miss an excellent opportunity that will only become available again in 2011. To get to Auto Pavilion, and the start, from Kings Beach in Port Elizabeth proceed along Marine Drive, keeping the sea - and harbour - on your right hand side. Continue straight on to the M4 towards Grahamstown. Fork Left - N2 (Cape Town). After +-2 km take Uitenhage turn off and turn RIGHT at second traffic light. After +-15km Road Forks - Keep LEFT to Uitenhage (Despatch ahead).
