one another in the Path to God. This revolutionary message
was brought to the world in a 7th century CE Arabia which
was steeped in the depths of oppression and shackles of
abuse, especially of women. It was a time when baby girls
were buried alive, and women were considered chattels with no rights of inheritance or divorce.
