Atlanta, January 25, 2008▬ Bria’ Sanders, a 12-year-old Memphis, Tennessee golfer
who qualified for the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship in 2007, is featured and
saluted on 750,000 McDonald’s restaurants tray liners currently being distributed as part
of their 2008 Black History Month celebration.
“We selected Bria’ because she a shining example of a young person who is working
hard to reach their full potential. The Black McDonald’s Operator Association, BMOA, is
saluting Bria’ during Black History Month because she participated in our Wheels of
Dreams Bus Program, BMOA Celebrity Golf Classic, has a 4.0 grade point average and
gives back to her community as a role model for youth,” said BMOA Atlanta Region
President Vicki Phelps-Chancellor.
