Mobile office technology is in the market trends
Ford presented its new F Series cars, equipped with a mobile office comprised of a
touchscreen computer, printer, wireless broadband access and GPS (Global Positioning
System). The new mobile system is dedicated to the contractors that want to make orders,
payments and other operations from the comfort of their own car.Marty Collins, Ford
General Marketing Manager, said that Ford Motors's F Series is designed to help the users
do their job faster and that mobile office technology is one of the market trends.Ford's
mobile office will be an accessory installed by dealers starting 2006. For this project, Ford
teamed up with Stargate Mobile, Microsoft and California Custom Sport Trucks offering the
touchscreen slate computer
