Rahimafrooz, a Bangladeshi manufacturer that is a familiar name in auto batteries in India and
many countries, will begin production by this year-end at a new plant to meet its growing export
market.
Rahimafrooz is setting up the new plant at Ishwardi in Pabna district, northern Bangladesh, The
Daily Star said Friday quoting an official of the company.
A joint venture, it will manufacture 200,000 batteries a month.
