Description

Durian, a big pointed Malaysian fruit, is often looked at with distaste amidst foreigners which claim the odor is disgusting as well as the taste worse. Because of that view, resorts and public transport systems across Southeast Asia have banned the fruit for worry of upsetting travelers. Is this treatment justified due to the so-called terrible taste and odor, or should we instead be sampling this Far Eastern delight at every opportunity?
