Across industrialized countries in North America plus Europe, absenteeism has become an important issue. Absenteeism affects business performance in addition to employees life. Apart from concerns about the direct financial impact of absenteeism, countless aspects at the origin of the issue lead to striking conclusions: absenteeism is a complex phenomenon to master plus manage. Consequently, it will become necessary to look for solutions adapted to the context of every organization, because there are no ready-made ways to adequately deal with these plus adversary.
