Craniofacial syndromes plus deformities are conditions of the head plus face that are inherited and/or congenital. They result whenever the growing bones of the fetal head never fuse properly together, creating an abnormally-looking head plus face. The head fails to grow at the ideal rate plus it can be too small, too big or elements of it can be disproportioned. Some are associated with developmental delay, while some are associated with general mind. Some have their craniofacial abnormality because an isolated part of their difficulties, while some have deformities or physical problems of different body regions.
