In the past, when one went to the beauty salon, the only type of service available to them was hair services: haircuts, hair styling, and hair procedures, such as perms. Perhaps there were beauty salon that offered makeup services as well, but those were few and far in between. Today, most beauty salons have come to understand that a woman’s need for beauty services does not stop at just her hair and makeup- women are concerned with many other things such as skincare, having manicured nails, and different types of hair removal from different areas of the body.
